| The Sahara hydrographic basin agency (ABHS) was created August 26, 1996 and for many constraints, it has become really operational at the end of 2003. The Agency is concerned with the interest, importance and the challenge posed by the information in the domain of water, it was proposed in this regard, to create a communication space, a hyphen, exchange and consultation between all interested and involved in the domain of water. This space is intended particularly for academics and professionals involved directly in the distribution and management of water resources
The ABHS also intends to provide in this space, information and technical and scientific data on the natural environment and especially in the domain of water. The Sahara, mainly including, its northern part is characterized by significant groundwater resources. This precious water resources, very low renewable or fossil is poorly managed. This coupled with poor management and geomorphological situations specific soil and climate has resulted in serious and damaging to the preservation of life, environment and productive potential. For proper management of water resources for a quantitative and qualitative satisfaction of various uses, requires all represent ants in the hydrographic basin, a concerted and effective participation. In this way , the basin committee (Parliament of water) consisting of administration representatives, local authorities and the various potential users, all of them are charged by ensuring good governance and to formulate this purpose any notice related to the issue of water across the hydrographic basin. From this perspective, and through these programs, The Sahara hydrographic basin agency (the ABHS) attempts to create an environment for better use of water resources, which is shared by all institutions near and far to the management and protection of this resource. It is through this communication space also, that this trial will be a primer for any action of information, awareness and extension of technical and scientific data. These data are necessary for any policy to practice management, integrated and sustainable water in its natural environment which is the hydrographic basin. In this regard, The Sahara hydrographic basin agency (the ABHS) is available to all directions of the hydraulic wilaya and all agencies under the Ministry of Water Resources, (ANRH, ADE, ANB , AGID, ONA, DHW, OPI) located within the boundaries of the hydrographic basin , this site could be used as an advertising medium, tender or other publication of a professional nature.
